We run a simple Red Hat server with Sendmail, SA and Spamass-Milter. I put
source RPMs for both at ftp://mail.camerontech.com/pub/spam along with a
sample sendmail.mc file. Change you MX record to point at the front end SA
server, have the front end server forward the messages via
/etc/mail/mailertable:

yourdomain.tld smtp:iPlanet.yourdomain.tld

It is just that easy. Takes me about an hour to install the OS, apply
updates, and then configure SA to relay to the "real" mail server.

Works *great*.

Thomas
