We use Amavisd-new (which works great) that calls SpamAssassin, and it then forwards it (via SMTP) to our real POP server. We also have a sendmail machine in front of Amavisd that calls DNSRBL's and Milter-Sender.

We use iPlanet for our email system and SA doesn't integrate well with

I just want to know if that is possible. I have been told that SA must
be run on the email server.
