How many email accounts do you / can you have there? I've developed a system which gives me full access to create header, body, and URI rules in my user_prefs file. The basic process: - - email comes to server, is processed by SA (uses my user_prefs blacklists, whitelists, and other parameters of that type, and ignores the rules specified there), and then lands in public email address mailbox - - cron job scans through mailbox, examining each email in turn: - If flagged as spam, dump to spamtrap file - If flagged as ham (negative score), forward to pop3 mailbox - Otherwise force a second SA run, which uses ALL the rules in my user_prefs (a local run, so there's no network dnsbl overhead). - If now flagged as spam, dump to spamtrap file - Otherwise forward to pop3 mailbox I have this proces running on two servers, processing emails in about 20 different email mailboxes. (Six of these forward to pop3 mailboxes on the same server, the rest forward to email addresses on other servers.) Works fine for me. If you have this level of flexibility on your system (ability to run cron jobs, ftp to server, multiple mailboxes), then maybe my system can work for you too.
