So defining "visible" vs "invisible" is your toughest chore.

You can work out from parsing the HTML what the background colour is, and see if the text colour is the same, or very similar. (in RGB colour terms) In fact unless I'm mistaken, some of the existing rules already do check for text which is a similar colour to the background...
