i ahve downloaded ur spamassasin . i need to insatll to my server which runs on linux. I like to have the method of
1.INSTALLATION AND
2.INTEGRATING THIS WITH MY MTA QMAIL USING spamd . That is via C AND NOT PERL.
so how could i go about installing.

1) installing is covered by the INSTALL file. If you downloaded the tarball use this part of the directions from the INSTALL file:
[unzip/untar the archive]
cd Mail-SpamAssassin-*
perl Makefile.PL
[option: add -DSPAMC_SSL to $CFLAGS to build an SSL-enabled spamc]
make
make install2) I myself haven't done a qmail integration, but a lot of people on the list seem to use qmail-scanner to do it:
