I block around the same amount a day (ca. 4000 - 6000), using Bayes too, and CPU usage has only raised very marginally since upgrading from 2.44 myself. So marginally even, that I would never have noticed it even, had people not mentioned it here. Loadaverages remain well below 1. The hardest hits I take on rbl timeouts.
