I've also been having trouble with running spamc/spamd on large files, though I have yet to profile just how large is large enough to give it a problem. It also doesn't seem to care if I use the -t or -s flags to spamc -- even with "spamc -t 90", I still get spamc processes just hanging around, sometimes for days at a time.
