First to the SA author(s) -- thanks, great tool.
I am using SA, now the 2.55 version with the exim MTA (4.1x) using the spamd/spamc stuff on exim.org. It is working fine.
I want to have the system do autolearning. In the spamassassin FAQ at <http://au.spamassassin.org/dist/spamd/README.spamd> it lists the following two parameters to affect this:
bayes_auto_learn_threshold_spam bayes_auto_learn_threshold_nonspam
but when I run spamassassin I get
Failed to parse line in SpamAssassin configuration, skipping: bayes_auto_learn_threshold_spam 7.9
Failed to parse line in SpamAssassin configuration, skipping: bayes_auto_learn_threshold_nonspam 2.2
And I don't seem to get any autolearning -- message count does not go up except when I run sa-learn myself and a spamassassin -D --lint shows only a count of spam equal to what I have done by hand. How do I get the autolearning turned on and how do I specify options to it?
Thanks Chad
