Wait, I think this list is run on something called ``SourceForge.net'' and
happens to be an ``open'' list.

Please don't insult the intelligence of the people on this list. There are
a number of very brilliant, very talented individuals who post their
thoughts and experiences to this group. Assuming you're the only lightbulb
in the drawer that turns on neglects the fact that the other bulbs are
actually plugged in.

Considering I read this directly from
[EMAIL PROTECTED], I'd say go right ahead. If you took
the time to complain, I'm sure you can take the time to ask the owner of
your NNTP service to install it for you.

*sigh* Self-pity. I love it. Methinks it foolish to expect sympathy from
a list whose purpose you have just spent the majority of your message
beating on with a dead carp.

I suppose you haven't heard of the phrase "background noise" either. Pay
attention to more messages and you might notice that a majority of the
posters here pick out parts of interest and reply to those. Or perhaps I
could write a five-page inline essay and gobble up your bytes like a hungry
shark. Mmmm, tastes like ... shrimp?!?!

Cute message, it humored me enough to respond. Although I think Alan's
response is by far much more humorous than mine.
