Hello list. Is it possible to use spamassassin before it reaches the server??
We would like to implement it on a firewall system which is set in front of our servers. Would this be possible? Has anyone done that yet? What is needed? What it should do: - Known Spamers should be deleted and informed - unless they send mail directly to honeypot - adress. In order to communicate about their Spamming. - Possible SPAM should be forwarded to honeypot - for manual review. - SPAM will be posted to public forums inlcluding the letters to the Spammer. - Whitelist should be possible - Files of Spammers can be exported to other -similar- systems of other ISPs. Maintainance will be done only by some of the ISPs. Would be great if you can help out. Perhaps there is another ISP reading this - interested in joining forces.
