I recently compiled 2.51 for my machine where I have razor2 installed. During make test, I noticed that spamassassin complained about an insecure file call with Razor's Config.pm file. Still the make completed and spamassassin was installed. I call spamassassin during with my .procmailrc, and in my logfile for procmail, I am now seeing this:
Cannot open bayes_path /staff/gaucho/.spamassassin/bayes R/O: Inappropriate ioctl for device Cannot open bayes_path /staff/gaucho/.spamassassin/bayes R/W: Inappropriate ioctl for device SpamAssassin: oops! still tied/locked to bayes DBs, untie'ing This is running on a RedHat Linux 8.0 machine. The bayes files are incrementing in size, and mail is being delivered correctly but the log entries definitely seem like something that needs to be addressed.
