Ahh now it all makes sense. :) Thanks Matt. Hopefully we will see this feature again. It is a great idea.
So I assume that SA3 will be running all of its negative rules first then? -Paul -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] On Behalf Of Matt Sergeant Sent: Thursday, November 07, 2002 11:04 AM To: Paul Fries Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: Re: [SAtalk] Why was -S option depreciated? I really don't want to see that happen. :) -S was irrepairably broken in it's design (I know, because I designed it!). It basically stopped before some negative rules would be run, possibly clawing back false positives. It really doesn't save you that much processing time anyway, because the majority of your email is non-spam, and so the majority of the time every rule is run regardless. It'll be fixed in SA3, whenever I get some time to finish it. Matt. ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by: See the NEW Palm Tungsten T handheld.
