Yes. The unsubscribe notice on Yahoo! Groups mailing lists messages gives an *4* points, and probably a lot of other mailing lists do as well. The theory is that the local admin whitelists all the mailing lists the SA users receive, and then anything left over is a spam message. Of course, if this is a mailing list that only gets sent out a few times a year, they might not realize they're on th list. > I also need to check to see what the "free lunch" business is about. The FOR_FREE (free lunch #1) rule detects the word "for free". The second free lunch rule detects "100% free", "completely free" and such. The third detects "no charge" or "no cost". > Everyone is correct - spammers give legitimate business a tough time! Yep. Even ignoring filters like SA, some people are so sick of spam that they get irrational, and report as spam any messages that they didn't like receiving, even if they *did* opt-in for it. So you get legitimate businesses wondering why in the world they're receiving spam complaints when they *know* they didn't send out any spam. -- Give a man a match, and he'll be warm for a minute, but set him on fire, and he'll be warm for the rest of his life.
