Dial-a-FAQ by Matt Cline :)

Some quick answers (then I'm going home to sleep)

It's shareware. x day free trial, then need to pay $y to continue use (x
and y both currently looking to be about 30, but might change in next few days).

Thanks for the info.

We now have a FAQ! Thanks Matt. I'll upload these Q/As to the site in a
moment. DeerSoft support is currently 3 people (no product publically available
yet, and 3 support folks!) one of whom is myself. I don't think Gordon's in the
3 people, though if he's bored he might dequeue items. Screenshots will look a
whole heck of a lot like Outlook in the beta version -- basically it'll just
alter the subject line and prepend with ***SPAM*** -- we're trying to keep
things uber-simple for the Windows users. The Outlook contacts
import-to-whitelist feature is almost certainly going to make it into 1.0, as
will some toolbar buttons for "Spam/Not Spam" which users can click if SA rang
up a false positive/false negative. Those buttons will add to
(white|black)list, and do the equivalent of "spamassassin -r" or "spamassassin
-d" depending on which button it was.

MC> When will SA-Pro work with Eudora and other MS Windows MUAs?

We're looking at that. First will be Outlook, shortly afterwards we'll have
Outlook Express. Eudora doesn't look too hard; haven't looked at
Mozilla/Netscape but probably not too hard. Speed of implementation on those
versions will depend to some extent on market demand.

MC> Finally, the SpamAssassin.org front page still says that "SpamAssassin ... is
MC> not currently suitable for home users to install on Windows".

Ah yes, I forgot to modify spamassassin.org to talk about deersoft. Will go do
that now.
