I don't realy use any of the apps that are being talked about here (Apart
from SA) but something occured to me that may be irrelevent but....
Most of the porn I intercepted as a School admin was sent as attachments.
There are two things that spring from this...
1) I think spamc doesn't process big messages to prevent timeout issues....
so a spamd based system could be foiled by sending lots of porn... as the
message is to big it doesn't get filtered.
2) SA doens't realy pay any attention to attachments, so just send a mail
say hello and attach a gif that's got an innocent name and you have bypassed
the system.
By policy we used to strip ALL attachments. That could work out the problems
above but only if it was done before spamd gets the mail.
