Well, that wasn't what this rule does, but it does make a good point.
If I get an email with a subject like 'Hello kerry_nice, get your free
porn here', it is spam, no question about it. I'm not looking to
whitelist these.

But what would be nice, and maybe is needed to really make this thing
work for everybody and worldwide, is easier localization and
customization. Yeah, I know it can be done by hacking the different
files, but it seems like the rules need to evolve into something a
little different and organized differently. Have the install process go
though a sort of a wizard that rewrites some rules based on different
conditions and answers to different questions.

There was the whole debate about do you automatically tag foreign
character sets or different countries. If the wizard determines that
you are in China or work with a lot of customers in Chana, for example,
then don't trash emails from China.

What about somebody who works in a real estate firm or for a drug
company. If I get an email that mentions viagra or is talking about
refinancing, for all I care, score just that like 4.99 for that alone,
but somebody who works in a place like that might think differently.

Maybe SA needs to come up with a concept of a profile for a user or a
company. This would make the installation more involved, but ultimately
more useful and accurate. Certain rules like your attribution line or
my customized subject could have local settings built at installation
time. If you work for a pharmacy, then the rules specific to drugs will
be zeroed out.

Kerry.
