Thomas, I'm afraid I don't really know what to tell you. The best I can guess is that the server-side check in method is throwing a null pointer exception for some unknown reason. I really would expect to see the stack trace in the Tomcat logs somewhere. Are there also some daily log files in the same TC logs directory? If so, have you checked these? This is a longshot.
Since this is happening consistently with the same file, then it must be that the xml meta data file for that file is somehow corrupt. Do you think you could find the file in question and send it to me so I can take a look? The file I'm talking will be in your SJ server's archives directory, in a directory called files in another directory named for your archive. Like so: SJ_ROOT/archives/myArchive/files Look for the file with the same number as the id of the file you're having trouble with. You can find the id of your file by selecting the file in the SJ client, right-clicking, selecting Details, and then selecting the File Info tab. If you can't get this to work (which might happen if meta data file is corrupt) then I've got another way to find the id, but it's more of a pain, so I'll save the instructions until we really need them.
