Topical application of fresh urine is an ancient remedy for baldness. It seems it would impart an odor but it does not. Leave it on for awhile and then rinse only with clean water. It is also somewhat cleansing, but not as much as shampoo is.
Using shampoos without Lauryl sulfate is supposed to be preventative. Seems the lauryl sulfate strips too many oils and can damage hair follicles. Jason shampoos have no lauryl sulfate, laureth sulfate is suppose to be ok, but neither would be better.
