Hi Dan, I think your speculations on the zapper treatment are right on! Often when we hit an infection we get a detox response. Mono can be one of the initial infections common in Lyme, so hitting it in a Lymie could probably produce a Jarisch-Herxheimer response (herx, for short) where the dead pathogens are toxic waste that can make a person feel even sicker until the body detoxes them.
