Hello group-- Hoping someone has some words of wisdom for me. I had a white filling replaced in a lower incisor 3-4 weeks ago, and it was fine until a few days ago. I have had a dull toothache for about 3 days, and now the tooth is sore to tap down on. There does not appear to be any abcess-- I am going back to let the dentist check it this afternoon, but I am afraid of what he might suggest. It's possible he will put me on an antibiotic, or could suggest a root canal.
I will not have a root canal. However, what is the alternative? Can EIS help with this, and how would I use it in this application? Full of dread... Beth H
