I use mine regularly with 40-60 ppm hard water. Every few
batches I soak it in white vinegar and hot water
to remove deposits. Between batches I either rinse or wipe
out what I can. A little sticks and when that gets
to the size of a quarter I soak in vinegar, sometimes over
night to get it all.
