or Shib, not Sheba. We don't sound the final 'a'. And that's Parboti, not
Parvati.
Being the multi-lingual scholar that you are, you also remember, naturally,
that we don't pronounce 'm' in names like Padma, so that comes out Padda, and
Grishsha for summer, Grishma. Not to mention Lakkhi, instead of Lakshmi.
There's more confusion for you outlanders trying to edge in and belong; W or V
in compounded consonants isn't sounded, so Bhoroddaj for Bharadwaj, or
Bharadvaj. Ram Lakkhan, not Ram Lakshman; in short, don't try, don't even get
started.

BTW I recall reading long ago that this "already" at the end of a sentence
such as that used in the name of this thread is common usage in Yiddish and
was introduced into American English by Jews in the US.
