Ideally (IMO) Bangalore needs a small car with huge wheels. That was in fact
invented in India several thousand years ago. It was called the bullock cart.
Small cars are great for navigating congested and narrow roads and parking,
and large cars for all the reasons Gautam has listed - a view of the road
from high up and the ability to intimidate others without actually trying to
do that.

Speed and acceleration seem to be nearly worthless qualities for cars within
Bangalore.

Regarding acceleration, it may be worth noting that the abovementioned bullock cart reaches its top speed in barely a few seconds.
