The Tata Sumo is a copy (and not all that good a copy, I must say) of the
Mercedes G class.
Oh, the Tata Estate was the W124 TE Estate. A decent copy.
Tata used to be "Tata Mercedes Benz"till around the 60s.
Not sure about Force Motors (used to be Firodia, earlier - the "F" in
old Matador vans is Firodia)
