The point is not how they handle the data, but they gather data
they have no business gathering. They're a one-stop shop for
any TLA or subpoena. (In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if they
had special rooms in their data centers, too, if they're like
all corporations).

You can be damn sure that I'll not be using Google for any
serious query without using Tor or an anonymous proxy. Google
already knows way too much about me, from Gmail and AdSense/AdWords,
no need to associate my queries with that identity.
