Hi Luci,

Freebie idea for you (was tempted to do myself some time ago) -

1) distribute contact details and vCard by a URL over SMS. Works with any
phone if you type in a mobile number.
2) add on social networks - based on profile - LinkedIn, Facebook, etc

Funnily enough, this would work about 10x better than geo-location in most
cases, is compatible Android-to-iPhone, iPhone-to-other, but has the
downside of a small SMS charge per exchange. Most people are on free SMS
plans though.

Make sure its one click to load, one click to send... otherwise, why would
you bother when traditional business cards can be whipped out in 5 seconds?!

I've also discovered that 50% of the population don't carry a relevant
business card, which strikes me as odd indeed! This app would be very handy
for everyone concerned, and with SMS would spread virally.

Maybe you might also want a 'fake' business card for people you don't want
to meet again ;)

Good luck!

Cheers,

Nigel
