I've got a CentOS6 cluster happily running SoGE 8.1.6. I'm adding CentOS7 nodes, and I'm considering using the 8.1.9 RPMs available from Fedora COPR (https://copr.fedorainfracloud.org/coprs/loveshack/SGE/package/gridengine/).
