I get my setup from the vendor and don’t think he has moved to a newer one.
Still any suggestions are welcome.

This was very interesting, I didn't know about the signatures and the
ability to diff and dump them. Unfortunately this didn't give me any
useful insights to this problem though - the most differences appear in
the scripts. The build from Variscite is done on some scarthgap and my
build is from cur
When IMA and EVM are used for file appraisal then EVM verifies the
signature stored in security.evm. This signature covers file metadata
(uid, gid, mode bits, etc.) as well as the security.ima xattr.
Therefore, it is sufficient that only files' hashes are stored in
security.ima. This also leads to

So Khem, the 64-bit build works. Thank you very much. The next thing I need you
to fix is "World Peace!". Please get on it...
I'll give your other steps a try now. I in fact, prefer the 64-bit mode but
this should still w

Khem,
Thanks for the help but no joy. It gives me a unrecognised image on the SD
card. It is un-mountable. I'm working in Linux and not Windows which I believe
is where the WIC format is more prevalent on.
Cheers!!

Yeah I just figure that out and tested it. I was going to reply back. Anyways,
I ran it through bunzip and then "dd'd" the image to my SD card. Same issue.
Dead. However I need to add some commands to the config.txt file to get the
output from startx.elf to find out if it's stopping at the same

Hi Members ,
I am tying to reduce the RFS for one BSP and making use of buildhistory /

I was expecting this file will have all user-spaces packages only.
But i do see kernel-image-uimage & many kernel-modules also in the file.
Hence wanted to understand why this "RF
Greetings Ahish,
The Yocto reference manual may be of help:
https://docs.yoctoproject.org/1.8/ref-manual/ref-manual.html#enabling-and-disabling-build-history
.
Build history should be for all packages and modules for the kernel are
separate in some cases. It's not just for user-space as kernel tri
So, I'm at the same point in this excruciating exercise. The output is the same
as what I reported before. I'm stuck at the loading of the linux kernel.
I have to set the dtparam arm_64bit=0 for my Yocto image. Could there be an
issue with the Raspberry Pi bootcode.bin being unable to load a 32-
