Wormux 0.9.0 has been released the 2010/01/26. A few bugs have been
fixed in the trunk (in particular the bug that leads to double damage!).
This release suffers in network from unsynchronisation problems,
probably due to floating point operations that give different results

I think that wormux project will progress fastest with a good roadmap.
Here is a roadmap. Feel free to write a better one or edit this one (add
date, change anything).

Hmm, OpenGL support maybe? I know many think it's useless but it's a
little werid that wormux is far from working smooth on high
resolutions (1680x1050 or so) on PC that runs 3D games very well on
this resolution. Guess OpenGL isn't so hard to implement in SDL games.
Hope devs will think about Ope

Map generation is quite important, so is sounds and voices.
Make a list of all voices, I can get people to do 'sets' of funny
voices if required but it need documenting.
As for sounds, I know people that can create interesting sounds. i.e
you don't need a gun to make a gun sound.

I think we should define a roadmap for the future release.
In my mind, the next release should :
- fixes most of bugs reported here (https://gna.org/bugs/?group=wormux).
Network bugs are high priority.
- integrates more sound effects
After, we could work on :
- artificial engine
- ground ge
Ohhh! AI is important, there are someone work on it? I can help, but I
don´t know about AI programming, but I can debug, indent the code or
do something.
Other thing that I want to comment, in the menu to select team, map,
etc. the text is too small it need to be biger.

There is no official roadmap, but big new features are currently
developped. When these features will be fully done, we'll release a 0.8.
These features are:
- network support (currently experimental)
- characters animation : code is good but not all team characters have
been ported
- phys
