I have the following problem with winvnc:
often, installing vnc, on various machines in a LAN (both windows 9x and
2000 on those), after having inserted the data in the registry, and
installed as service, when i restart the program in next sessions, password
of access was forgot,

I have a RedHat 7.0 workstation, running XF86 4.0.3, Gnome 1.4, and
Win4Lin 3.0. I want access to the workstation from my home machine.

This usually happens when the vnc server is down. That's why I keep my
own clients and servers on my drives. When this happens, I telnet to the
machine in question and relaunch the vnc server. In your case, you
probably need to contact whoever is in charge of the remote machine.
