Well, if you use DHCP in conjunction with DDNS, you can solve the problem
that way.

if you are using WINS then you will be able to associate the name and
disregard the ip. im not sure what your environment consists of but it works
for our machines running dhcp

I know that I'm probably revisiting old stuff here, but I've searched the

I'm running Windows 2000 Pro on one side and RedHat Linux 7.0 on the other. I
