vncviewer works fine on our macs & Linux and w98, but not on NT. The
viewer app runs briefly, does its dialogs and then hangs around for ~10s
and then terminates. And that's it. No error messages from either
vncviewer or windows gpf. What's going on?

Hi,
Try this :
Setup your VNC normally on your PC (say pc-nt4).
Setup your password on it.
Copy C:\Program Files\ORL\VNC\WinVNC.exe and C:\Program
Files\ORL\VNC\vnchooks.dll in your system32 directory.
You need from the RK : sc.exe and reg.exe.
ntvnc.bat is for one computer.
ntbatchvnc.bat is u

Another way is to modify the script vncserver to allow the -query otpion to

Hi Predator,
with your distribution you got a file Vncviewer (don't take the wrong one
starting with lowercase "v"). Use this one as your $HOME/.Xresources (only
one
"s" and don't forget the dot before the "X").

Hi Wayne:
You should modify your "vncserver"-script or your "$HOME/.vnc/xstartup"-script?
If you modify only "vncserver" you will have to remove "$HOME/.vnc/xstartup".
"vncserver" will then create a new one containing the modifications you made
there. If you modify only "$HOME/.vnc/xstartup" nob

For those who have successfully run zebedee over roadrunner, a question:
Do you know if your local roadrunner is using NAT?
If so, how are you getting around that?
We've discovered that everyone here who can connect through zebedee is

Ordinarily, I would think that would simply try to recompress
