So this is a NT thing only? Because our server is running Win98.

Service Packs include updates and bug fixes to your operating system. They
are freely available from Microsoft. The latest for Windows NT 4.0 is
Service Pack 6a. Each Service pack superceeds the last so you only need to
download SP 6a and install it. You will not need any of the previous Service

I'm a little confused. Is this on one machine with multiple OS's or is this
on several different machines each with a different OS? If you have seperate
machines the only way the Solaris machine would be accessed when you intend
to access the RedHat machine is if you didn't type in the cor

There is a video you can d/l from the VNC site. The better the picture

I have VNC running as a service at home on my Win 95 machine. I just ran the
Install Winvnc Service option from the Start menu. I don't recall if that

saw something on the VNC site about doing this. Sorry I don't recall wher
Tridia has. BTW, you don't have to pay for their version. You can d/l it for
free. You just won't get any support from them.
VNC and Netmeeting? Aren't those totally unrelated? I mean, I could
understand if you wanted to compare PC Anywhere and VNC, but Netmeeting?

Open up port 590x where "x" is your display number. "x" is zero on Windows.
You might consider opening up port 580x ("x" still represents display

I've found that Tridia's VNC tight encryption works well. That can be found

You could also use the zlib compression. If I were to use VNC over the

Well, you didn't get an answer because this feature is documented.

I'm not quite sure what you're asking. A normal VNC connection only requires
