Hello All, I am trying to get the JavaVNC viewer to work but am having some problems. I have installed JDK 1.3 for Linux which is really Java 2.0, but I am unclear where to put the classes and jar file so that my Apache web server could send out and start up the JavaVNC viewer. Has anyone had a

Hello All, I am new to this list and also to the modifying VNC. I have seen this "rfbcounter" and am begining to see how it might be possible to make some modifications for what we need to do. I have just download VNC and am going to work on getting it installed on my Linux Mandrake 8.1 system.

Hi -- Use the NT Task Manager to find out what process is using all the cpu cycles. It is not usually WinVNC. In my case it was something called ntvdm, which I could kill, without ill effect. Discovering what started ntvdm is more difficult. The Microsoft Knowledgebase has some clues. Ellis
