Hi -- Use the NT Task Manager to find out what process is using all the cpu cycles. It is not usually WinVNC. In my case it was something called ntvdm, which I could kill, without ill effect. Discovering what started ntvdm is more difficult. The Microsoft Knowledgebase has some clues.
