.vpopfilter ?

2001-01-28 Thread itzukev
Do the filters work ? I compiled the latest version 4.9.8 with --enable- deliver-filter=y, touched the .vpopfilter file in user's Maildir, but the examples from the README don't work. Any suggestions? I saw a patch from Matthias Henze, but it's for 4.8.9. Best Regards, Ivan Tzukev _

Lots of open-smtp.tmp.5136 files?

2001-01-28 Thread Hubbard, David
Hi everyone,     I just enabled the relaying features of vpopmail and I seem to be accumulating files in my ~vpopmail/etc directory of the form open-smtp.tmp..  I'm guessing the numbers represent the PID of whatever was servicing the connection.  Shouldn't those go away after clearopen

Wonderful, thanks James, that worked great for me. I had to bump softlimit up to 300 before it would work. I'm on linux, maybe mine takes more memory for some reason. I'm a little unclear to how softlimit works though, I mean I know what it does, but is that limit a total for all processes?

Courier-IMAP causes open-smtp to be owned by root

Hello,     I'm using vpopmail in conjunction with courier-imap and qmail-pop3.  The open-smtp relay feature to allow people who authenticate to relay mail works great.  The problem I have is that when an IMAP user logs in, the open-smtp file gets updated successfully with the IP address of t

Hello,   I just finished getting qmail+vpopmail+ldap+sqwebmail running smoothly.  When trying to get sqwebmail working, the last step, I added some code to vldap.c to output messages to syslog to find out if it was getting used, when, and how far into it.  When I authenticate with a virtual

You can force couriertcpd to run as whatever user you choose. man couriertcpd for all the options. But I just edited /usr/lib/courier-imap/libexec/imapd.rc and added: -user=vpopmail \ -group=vchkpw \ to the the "start" case. It works fine, and my open-smtp file is no longer getting chowned

DAMN! I wish I had known about that. I have vadd|deldomain(), vpasswd(), vadd|deluser(), vsetuserquota(), and vauth_user() all working. I'm not a C programmer by any means, your code is much cleaner and makes better use of the Zend stuff. FWIW: I had implemented vadddomain() alittle differentl
