I think that the forged-HELO is just another SA rule, not part of the SPF

Nobody of the devs got anything to say on that? I'm not sure if I did
everything correct (at least it works now), at least the documentation

I need to integrate Spamassassin with Iplanet Messgin Server 5.2, I read
this link
http://docs.sun.com/source/817-6266/anti-spam.html#wp56718
But I don't have the library
spamfilter_library=/opt/SUNWmsgsr/lib/libspamass.so
to configure option.dat file
Where I get this library?

My Spamassassin is no longer checking RBL lists for each incoming message,
and I've no idea why.
I installed Spamassassin on a new Centos server in February. The server runs
Exim and I manage it mostly through DirectAdmin (the install was using a

Wolfgang,
I guess you already use spamassassin (why else post to this particular
list?). Make sure you use a recent release (3.1.3 is current) and the
rules from rulesemporium.com.
But apart from that I'd need more info
Hope this helps!

Try with this options in your spamassassin
config file
lock_method flock
bayes_auto_expire 1
bayes_learn_to_journal 1
Then your lock method are changed to
mutex semaphores and no more lock files are generated. This options causes
a good performance change on my server.

This occurs from time to time so bayes databases cannot be opened.
Is there an option to remove any locks on startup or after idle period?

That's fine, you have SA. Few people use DSPAM with amavisd-new.

Have you checked the directory for correct permissions? And there is a database
there?
Also the configuration option for bayes has been changed. Where it used to take
a path, it now takes a filename.
