That's a value judgement. Not universally true for everyone. Probably true for lots of people, in which case ideas on how to minimize the negatives of greylisting will be worthless. For others, eliminating delays where possible would be worthwhile. As someone else pointed out, you'll never be able to eliminate 100% of delays; that is the nature of e-mail. But there are situations where eliminating delays as much as possible would be worthwhile, perhaps for no other reason than because it increases user acceptance of your spam filtering strategy. - Logan
