I think that 'host' refers to your Mac. 'Another instance' refers to
another copy of OpenOffice that may still be running on your Mac after a
previous session.
I think I would answer 'No' and then check whether there is an old
instance of OpenOffice still running, using whatever tool
What operating system do you have on your computer and what version of
OpenOffice did you install and from what source?
