I tried to create an USB stick with supergrub2 ready to run, but I

I tried several options available on the internet.

I just did an update from F25 to F26 via dnf. After it boots, I can no

Seems that doing
dnf install langpacks-en
gets rid of the locale issues. Not sure why the system upgrade doesn't
install a langpack.

I have had some luck with using flash drives as bootable disks by doing the
following:
1. Choose a disk NOT designed for security. The reason is if you want
security then the boot sector you want secure, that is NOT usable to boot
anything. You want a standard storage device.

Greetings,
An F25 -> F26 upgrade includes a move from Postgresql 9.5.x to 9.6.x, and
PostGIS 2.2.x to 2.3.x.
You need to do some extensive preliminary work as well as post-upgrade.
This page may help for those with non-GIS databases:

The issue does not manifest itself in a VT.
I am definitely not using Wayland. The XDG_SESSION_TYPE env var is set to X11,
and the GNOME doesn't have EGLStreams enabled to make Wayland work with the
NVIDIA drivers.
I will test a different DE and/or a live image whenever I have the time. I

No, tar does not do any sorting. It just process the directory entries in the
order that readdir(3) returns them. For some filesystems, that will be a sorted
list. Fo
