It may be difficult to see. It is located at the bottom left and the letters are in white and the background is rather white. FWIW, I had to re-install a system and I decided to keep the nouveau drivers for now and I installed plasma-workspace-wayland. Well, it got to the point where it showed my desktop and then crashed sending me back to the login. This system is a rather old Acer laptop from 2007 with GeForce 8600M GS hardware.
