You are right. I use dnf via command-line 99.99% of time but mistakenly clicked
update on the Plasma Updater which might have messed it up.

I am not sure what happened but I had locked the update of geoclue2 via dnf
versionlock but it has been updated anyway.

Have you tried this? My system wouldn't go back to desktop if screen
went off on kernel-3.16.2. I don't seem to have that problem with
kernel-3.16.3.
