Howdy,
I'm having trouble with my laptop. The mplayer folks say it's because Xv is not
configured properly.
Here's the xvinfo output:
xvinfo
X-Video Extension version 2.2
screen #0
no adaptors present
I'm using an external monitor but I think it's connected to the system board.

I must have said that wrong.
After the format, the mount failed and before the install quits
it allows me to save the error message for later examination.
I was not able to find where the information was saved on the
file system of the live cd.

This netmask is weird. Maybe should have been 255.0.0.0 or 255.255.255.

Open up /home/[user]/.huludesktop, where it says "Flash location",
you'll need to put the ENTIRE path to the flash plugin (i.e.

Just an observation: your netmask spans 25 bits.
My first thought was about confusion between "255.0.0.0" and "/25",
but bits are counted in the opposite way, so it would be "/7" (32-25).
Does the problem

Hi, AFAIK btrfs compression is enabled via mount option. I'm now
installing Fedora 13 beta on / partition formated As btrfs. During
install there is no option for compression. If I add compress option
after install is there a way to compress data that was saved during
the install?
Cheers!

After googling around, it seems that OpenOffice 3.2 won't be
officially packaged for Fedora 12. I really would like to upgrade to
it because 3.2 now handles OpenType fonts.
Can anyone confirm that 3.2 definitely won't be packaged for F12? In
that case, what would be the best alternative? Are there
