I'm sorry, I can't help right now.
I'm trying to rewrite Debian scripts to CDBS for Kannel to make my life
with Kannel a little easier. :)
Hi All,
I have kannel 1.5.0 running perfectly on My CentOS 5.2 box, I installed
openSMPPBox through SVN as follows:
1. #svn co https://svn.kannel.org/smppbox/trunk
2. #cd /trunk/
3. #./configure
4. #make
5. #make install
Up to this point everything has run fine. Then I create the opensmppbox
:D If it is not a problem please give some info to the list if you
success or you want someone to test new scripts.
Thanks for time and advices

Hello,
Thanks Milan, but this does not solve the problem. My configuration file is
a follows:
group = core
group = opensmppbox
bearerbox-host = 127.0.0.1
bearerbox-port = 13000
opensmppbox-id = smppbox1
pensmppbox-port = 9100
log-file = /var/log/kannel/opensmppbox.log
log-level = 0

It should be smppbox and not opensmppbox

Hi,
I am just wondering if SQLBox supports the optional TLVs. If so, what format
do they need to be in the database?

Problem temporary solved.

debian/contrib .stable

Guys,
Maybe a bit out of kannel scope, but trust this is where the experienced
users are..
Is there any documentation available how to format such an SMS that upon
receipt of SMS, will write the APN Setting to an Android handset?
Assume it will be some binary SMS, and Android will obey some OMA
Replying to self to correct myself.

Hi,
No, this is not the right forum. The only thing I can tell you is that
kannel can send any binary SMS to any port you specify in your UDH. To get
the settings for the android, you will have to visit their forum.

If Kannel is never restarted, the dlr would be in the dlr table of the db
and would not be called.
An exception to this would be if the remote smsc is a kannel-http instance.
In that case, dlr's are called from the remote site.

See the example opensmppbox.conf in the example folder.
Maybe the only thing you need is extra white space after group = core.

I have successfully installed OpenSMPPBox on my CentOS 5.2 box running
kannel,
Opensmppbox runs properly and waits for connections from ESMEs. when I try
to connect using an SMPP client, the client fails to bind with the following

TLVs are defined per SMSc, which is implemented in bearerbox. They don't
have anything to do with sqlbox. Data from TLVs are passed on from bearerbox
as metadata, which is supported by latest sqlbox.

Hello.
Im using Kannel. Im sending some messages with DLR Flag, but the problem is
that always Kannel sent to SMPP the SAME dlr-mask
If we put 2 at dlr-mask, kannel sent 1.. If I put 1, kannel sent 1.
My Logs:

Hi Nikos,
In our scenario, we receive TLV data on the MO and need to send it back to
the SMSC on the MT.
In the docs I have seen that smsbox can do it by posting the key, value
pairs in the meta data part.
