I have all modems running on the same kannel instance
Each has its own smsc-at entry pointing to a different /dev/tty... In
reality, because of the number of modems, they are all connected to
kannel through two old xyplex terminal servers and I use raw-tcp
connection for each modem

Well i am not sure about this model, i have worked on Fargo Maestro
20(Serail Interface), it works like a charm. I tried a USB one but got lost

speed can be set programmatically thru' the +IPR command: it's possible
