You should use latest ffmpeg version as there has been a parameter change in the FFmpeg api. There is however also a config key to make openmeetings work with the old FFmpeg. But keep in mind that the quality and performance of the produced recordings might suffer from using older versions. Sebast

Hi Gianluca, the codec is called Adobe Screensharing Codec SHA1. The codec is based on a system where it devides the screen into tiles and only transfers those tiles that have changed. That is similar to vnc or any other screen sharing codec. The quality setting basically reduce the jpeg quality
