Hi Denis, I like the idea of having Favourites and the "now live" section. That could be a quite useful for lots of people.
The chat itself was kind of re-designed already, the idea is to have a permanent chat on the bottom right that is minimized by default. Just like on Google+ or Facebook, the chat window stays even if you change the page inside Facebook or Google. Only if you enter the conference room that chat will disappear (and you have the chat inside the room).
