Dear Maxim,
For some of my online apps, I have well defined databases of users with
their specific IDs. So, when I connect them to OM via REST, I assign a
modified version of their IDs to the 'externalId' parameter. That creates a
new record for the given user in the OM database. Subsequently, wh

I also tried to put the line "user=nobody:a_new_password" in
the /etc/turnserver.conf file, as per the OM 5.0.1 instructions. But that
did not make a difference, either...

Dear Maxim,
If we are having a meeting and one of the users decides to share his
screen, other users can not see the screen, unless they click on the small
screen-share symbol in the top right corner.
I think I saw this question already asked; however, I could not find it
among OM-related emails:

Dear Maxim and friends,
Please forgive me for sending this question the second time, but I reckoned
it to be more appropriate to send it under a different subject line, rather

Dear Maxim,
Please forgive me if this has been asked.
I added some users directly in mysql tables. All is good, but I can't login
on their behalf, unless they are activated via email.

retirement. They want as little computer hass

Dear Maxim,
I am using OM for online meetings, and I am using another system for
administering other aspects of the services. On both systems, the users are
stored in Mysql databases, and I have studied the structure of OM user data
bases and also those of the other system.

I just realized that I should offer this clarification for some of our

"terrific" means "wonderful"
"terrific" does NOT mean "terrible"!

Dear Maxim,
Is there a way to disable captcha when changing the password? The images
are often difficult to read, and many users have to reset the captcha image
a few times, till they finally get it.
Thank you.

Dear Maxim,
Just a quick question about the intended room structure.
When creating conference room, it says 0-25 participants. Is that only a
*recommended* limit or a hard drop-dead limit?
Thank you.

Dear friends,
I am sure the question below has already been asked, and probably falls
into the category of silly questions. Nevertheless, I will ask, as I need
to use this feature in a meeting that occurs in just a few hours...
I did some work in the whiteboard and saved it in a pdf file, which a

Dear Maxim,
Thank you for your product. The latest OpenMeetings works great.
The only problem: we can not hear the users of iPhone or iPad, when they
speak. The microphones are enabled. Other apps on the devices can hear the
sound fine. But not the OM session.

This is a bit critical for me because I was hoping to use OpenMeetings to
conduct my online classes at the university (I am a professor), since we
are all locked up at our homes due to the virus. My class is in less than
