I am still experiencing this issue, both on
[ 792.429] (II) intel(0): SNA compiled from 2.21.15-13-ge98cc0b
and on 2.99.901.
I get exact same results as in comment #14.

Just to confirm that the work-around described in the upstream bug (set
MESA_GL_VERSION_OVERRIDE=1.4 in /etc/environment) works on my GMA950
based netbook).

It looks like drivers were installed:

What is the output of:
$ ubuntu-drivers list
?
We use Modaliases stanza on the package to figure out if your hardware needs it.
Could you also do:
$ lspci
And then lookup modalias for your card in:
$ cat /sys/devices/pci*/*$(DEVICE)/modalias

Ok I have the same symptoms on a Pineview (GMA3150), confirmed that
downgrading mesa also restores these three functions to normal. Dupped
my bug against this if you need specific H/W information.

Ok this is confirmed as fixed by a mesa downgrade. Very likely this is
the same issue as filed under Bug #1222602. Reassigning and dupping.
