doesn't scan the USB bus for devices. So all USB2xxx type devices must

I bought a new graphics adaptor to replace my old ATI one. The model I
chose is a Gainward GeForce 210 1024MB DDR2 HDMI.
Upon installing the new adaptor my Ubuntu 10.10 64bit system froze on

same result - freezing.

Not sure how this whole bug reporting thing works but I've tried
everything I can think of to enable touch on this computer. Stylus and
Eraser both work great but touch just does not respond. I've done a
complete system wipe/reinstall/update just before the bug report mainly

Have the same problem, plus whenever I try to use an external monitor,
it refuses to display correctly, I get all sorts of wavy lines, like the
refresh rate is off. I tested the card in windows, and it displays
correctly, so the hardware is definitely functioning correctly.

i have the same problem with medion akoya e1210. in my case the culprit
seems to be the wireless driver and its disagreement with some power
management thing in the kernel. It uses the rt2860sta driver. When I
disable networking the computer runs fine with 2.6.35 kernel, it keeps
running fine when

However, I'm concerned that this is turning into a big ugly hack that
